# Checklist for sampling

With a few small preparations, sampling goes quickly and the result is accurate. This is what you can have ready.

## For soil samples

- A map or the field numbers of the fields
- Whether we can get onto the land and where the access is
- Which parts of a field are different
- When manure or lime was last applied

## For manure samples

- A time when the pit has been mixed
- A safe way to get to the pit

## For feed samples

- Which silage clamps or bales they are and from which cut
- Whether the silage has fully finished fermenting

## For water samples

- Which tap or which source it is
- A tap that we can reach easily

## On the day itself

For soil samples, you do not need to be there. Please do give us a phone number on which we can reach you if anything comes up.
